The Uncommon Practice has appointed Josh Williams as Client Manager as the business accelerates its ambitious growth plans across North Wales and North West England.

Josh’s appointment marks the second major senior hire announced by the professional services firm in the space of just a few weeks, further strengthening the firm’s senior team and its strategic advisory offering to businesses across the region.

Specialising in business advisory and management accounting, with particular expertise in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, Josh will work closely with business owners to provide real-time financial insight that supports their commercial decision-making and long-term growth.

From Wrexham, Josh is well known and highly respected across the regional business community as a founder and board member of Wrexham Young Professionals, a network dedicated to connecting and supporting the next generation of business leaders across the area.

Marlon Armstrong, Founder and Director at The Uncommon Practice, said:

“We’re delighted that Josh is joining The Uncommon Practice. He is a fantastic addition to our management team and a significant appointment for the business, reflecting our ambitious growth plans.

“Josh combines strong technical expertise with commercial insight and a genuine passion for helping his clients succeed.

“He is also highly respected within the local business community and has built an excellent reputation through both his client work and his involvement with Wrexham Young Professionals.

“As we continue to grow across North Wales and the North West, Josh’s experience and leadership will further enhance the strategic support we can provide to ambitious businesses.”

Speaking about joining The Uncommon Practice, Josh Williams said:

“I’m really excited to be joining The Uncommon Practice. The ambition of the team, their culture and values, and the firm’s forward-thinking approach to accounting support really stood out to me.

“SME business owners want advisers who support their growth ambitions, not just help them stay compliant, and I’m looking forward to playing that role for The Uncommon Practice’s clients.”

Josh’s arrival reflects The Uncommon Practice’s ongoing commitment to building a strong local team that combines technical expertise with real-world commercial insight to support ambitious businesses across the region.
